Its your prerogative as a customer and perfectly within your rights to take up a dispute to who ever you wish. However I am not James, so I cant answer on his behalf. My advice is please kindly phone Universal Credit Service Centre and request to speak to James or respond to his request directly not to me, again, I am not privy to the details. Kind regards

Please focus on job search. Attend your appointments as is required ,and in the continuum, as your Work Coach, will be assisting you in every way, not instead of us getting embellished in details that do not help the very cause why you are claiming Universal Credit benefit. In a synopsis, my Manager contacted you twice , trying to resolve this, but you were not forthcoming. HMRC are very difficult to deal with, as they use private companies to identify people,,

the coventry city council have no problem identifying people for council tax payments,

yet they obviously do not share payment records with the HMRC,

Hello, I believe that the council is referring to your payment statement. This can be found on

[my next Universal Credit Appointment appointment is at

10:30am on Friday 27th November 2020].

thursday 5th November 2020, i received a phone call at 9:43am, 
from my work coach Jackie Sutton,, whom kindly advised me what is the DWP requirements are

for me to receive my entitlement of £34.98 per month from Universal Credit.

the MP for the DWP, requires me to enter into an agreement, to spend 20 hours per week,

looking for work, instead of Declaring Exactly how many jobs, i should be applying for,

and although i do not believe that this is a valid contract, i am given no option, other than to

agree to it. this agreement is open to interpretation, this agreement is less favourable to some people more than others,

i am therefore, going to comply with the DWP agreement, due to the fact that i am

left with no other alternative, yvonne pears

Hi Yvonne Thanks for your correspondence. Trust me as your Work Coach that I will sort this out and 
I am to rectify everything for you. Please don't worry all will be in ok. I have contacted your Case Manger 
at Service Centre and believe me this is something that's going be rectified soo and that it will not 
prejudice you in any way and we will sort it out amicably.  I should come back to you by Friday latest to 
let you know the status of your claim. Meanwhile relax and take and take care of yourself.

Hi Yvonne I refer to your query regarding income threshold which I promised to come back to you today. I have looked at your claim, and found out that the income you are referring to, is actually a benefit of £..... a month for renting a room in your house so it is not work.

Income thresholds can only relate to income from working. You are not working at the moment, therefore you haven't met any income threshold, that is why you are required to search for,

and apply for jobs. We will continue to engage you in order to assist you get into paid employment. I am sorry that this may not be what you wanted or expected to hear.

actually Edward you are wrong, it is an income, and it is work. It is self employment.

Therefore, I require you to specify exactly, how many hours, of paid work, that you are demending that I, undertake, to receive a tax credit, of £34 per month ?

because a self employed income constituses work. In addition, I require the name of your manager, because I am definitely going to challenge this matter in court.

Edward, you claim that my rental income is a classed as a BENEFIT, instead of an INCOME, meaning that I have to apply for jobs, in order to receive my tax credits even though my

income is above the threshold,

classed as a BENEFIT, and it is above the threshold of job seekers, I am still required to search for work, under the supervision of a job coach,,

Hi Yvonne, Just to explain that the reasoning behind asking you to spend X amount of hours looking and applying for work, rather than saying 'apply for 25 jobs a week' for example, is that some applications can take hours or even days to complete, whereas some applications just require a click. So to make it fair, we ask that you spend the time, in your case, 20 hours. I hope this helps. Regards, Carol
